“The hospital told me that I had to go to rehab and I was scared to death,” said Ms. Rosemary Amentler. “I had no idea what to expect as this was my first time in a rehabilitation center,” she stated.” Ms. Amentlers’ fear subsided as she entered the building. The staff greeted her and they “were all so friendly.”
The next day, Westmoreland Care held their annual “Spring Break Day,” which is a Hawaiian-Themed day that is designed to give elders and staff the opportunity to enjoy sand between their toes, tropical drinks, and an island-inspired lunch. After hearing the tropical music and seeing all the staff dressed up, Ms. Amentler went down to see what was going on and ended up having a very fun time. “I truly enjoyed it and at that’s when I decided that this is a good place.”
“Therapy is fantastic and they have worked with me so well. The chef also worked with me and my meals while I was here. I will definitely come back to Westmoreland Care and Rehabilitation Center if I need more rehabilitation; I will recommend this facility to other as well,” Ms. Amentler said.
